Inside View of U.S. Tax Court with discussion on two Current Tax Court Cases (Estate of Diane Tanenblatt and the Estate of Helen P. Richmond.) The LA Chapter has brought together John A. Thomson, ASA, MAI and introducing Michael Perlmutter, Estate Tax Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to present a discussion around two current tax court cases. Discussion will include: • Discounts for lack of control • Discounts for lack of marketability • Built-in capital gains ("BIG") • Net Asset Value Approach vs. Income Approach on an asset holding company 3 hours BREA pending & 3 hours of ASA CE Early registration until September 23, 2014.
